A hospital, a clinic, a laboratory and a pharmacy are priced apart. Each starts with a
base plan, each module after that adds a line, hospital beds are charged at a flat
rate, and there is no fee per patient. Take most of the modules your kind of practice
can run and the module total comes down. Add or drop a module at the start of any
month. Build your plan here and we will quote it for your establishment; figures are
in Indian rupees and exclude local taxes, and outside India we quote in your currency.
Rates are off the page for now.The plans are being reworked into a base and a set of add-on modules, so pick what
you need here and ask us what it costs. Nothing on this page is agreed or
offered.

Clinics and hospitals together
One owner, one bill, each site at its own rate.
A group can run hospitals and clinics side by side. A patient seen at your clinic and
then admitted at your hospital has one history that follows them. The bill stays
simple: one invoice for the group, with every site charged at its own tier.

One invoice, before taxes
Each site is taxed at its own rate, so sites in different states stay correct.
Paying the one invoice settles every site at once.
If it goes unpaid, every site winds down together, in the stages below, and patients
already in care are looked after throughout.
Billing and the charge master stay per site; clinical records follow the patient.
If a payment is late
Patient care is never switched off.
Hospitals have slow months. A late payment winds things down in stages, with notice at
every step, and the care of patients already in your beds carries on throughout.
Up to 7 days late
Reminder
Everything works. Staff see a notice; admins see the amount due.
21 days late
New bookings pause
No new appointments or registrations. Notes, prescriptions, labs, admissions,
emergencies and billing all continue.
51 days late
Care and billing only
Patients already there are looked after, bills go out, records can be read. No new
wards or users.
Never automatic
A conversation
Nothing goes further without a person from our side talking to you first.
Your records are always yours. At every stage an administrator can export every record
as a machine-readable file (NDJSON).
If you leave
You leave with everything, and you have a year to take it.
A hospital that stops paying is still a hospital with patients in its history. The day
the stages above run out, a year begins in which nothing is deleted and everything can
be taken away. That year is included. What happens at the end of it is your call, not
ours.
Day 51
The year starts
It starts when the last stage is reached, not when the first payment was missed, and
it starts over if you come back and stop again.
Any day that year
Take it all
One file with every record in it, a checksum for each scan and report, and a small
reader page that opens the lot on any computer with nothing to install.
When the year is up
Deleted, with a receipt
We destroy what is left and send a signed certificate saying what went and when, so
you can show your own auditor.
Or, if you say so
We keep holding it
Custody paid a year ahead: we keep the archive readable for as long as you pay. The
rate moves with the cost of living. Cheaper again if we keep only the index.
How long a hospital must keep a record is the hospital's own duty and differs by
country and by kind of record. It travels with the copy you take away, so take the
copy. What we hold and for how long is set out in the
docs.
Your web address
Your own name on the web, with or without a domain.
Every hospital is reached at an address of its own. Patients open one name and your
staff open another, and neither shows anybody else's hospital.
No domain of your own: a name under vivanam.com
We give you yourname.vivanam.com for patients and
yourname-staff.vivanam.com for staff, with the security certificate
already in place. This is a paid add-on to the plan. Price: [PRICE TO BE SET, per
month]. That figure is a placeholder, not an offer.
Your own domain: point it at us
If your hospital already has a domain, such as care.yourhospital.in, point it at
{{product}} and we serve your hospital there. We tell you the records to add at your
domain registrar when you sign up.
Pricing questions
What the bill does and doesn't count.
Is there a charge per patient?
No. You pay the base plan, the modules you switch on and a monthly rate per bed.
Registering more patients, or seeing more of them, never changes the bill. The one
thing that grows on its own is the files a record carries, and every plan includes
a storage allowance before any of that is charged.
Are these prices final?
No. They are temporary estimates and nothing is agreed. They show how the bill is
put together, not what it will come to.
Is a hospital's pharmacy or lab a separate site?
No. A hospital is the whole complex, so the pharmacy, lab, outpatient department
and wards inside it are one site on one tier. A clinic or lab elsewhere in the
group is its own site.
What currency are prices in?
The prices shown are in Indian rupees and exclude local taxes. Hospitals outside
India are quoted in their own currency.
What happens to our records if we switch a module off?
They stay. Switching a module off stops new work in it, and the records it already
made remain in the patient's history. The docs list
what each module keeps.
Will the price go up later?
Over years, yes. Wages, electricity and disks all cost more each year and we would
rather say so than pretend otherwise. Any change is told to you before the bill it
appears on, and a year paid in advance is held at the rate you paid.
Is it cheaper to pay a year at a time?
Yes. A year paid up front costs eleven months and holds that rate for the whole
year.
What happens to our records if we stop paying?
Nothing is deleted for a year, and in that year you can take everything away in
one file with a reader that opens it. After that we either destroy it and send you
a signed certificate, or keep holding it for a yearly fee. The
section above sets out the whole of it.
Can we change modules later?
Yes. Add or drop a module at the start of any month. The owner flips the switch in
the staff workspace and the next bill follows.
Next step
See how setup, roles and hosting work.
The docs cover the first afternoon of setup, who can see what, where your records are
kept and what each module keeps when it is off.
